Happy Thanksgiving.There was a study done by Southern Methodist University on how attitude effects health and healing. They took a group of cancer patients and divided them up into three groups.Group One was asked to spend ten minutes a day thinking about ways their lives are better than others.Group Two was asked to spend ten minutes a day thinking about ways their lives were not a good as others.Group Three was asked to spend ten minutes a day being thankful for how their lives are as is.Groups One and Two had little difference between them. Both groups did not improve their health.Group Three, however, who focused on gratitude showed improvement in their health.May we be grateful for what we have and who we are.
