Retreat Centers QUESTION from Micki on May 9, 2002 Did you ever compilte a data base of retreat centers? I have been involved with a retreat house for 8 years and I'm leaving!! I'm tired of the enneagram and centering prayer. I need a good, Catholic retreat center. Help!!

My, you have a good memory :)
No, we have not completely that project. We need volunteers and the money to send inquirers to the various retreat centers.
But, I would like to get it done someday.
In the meantime, I may, with the help of a monk friend in Montana, compile a list a a few Retreat Centers I know to be okay.
There are two places I KNOW to be okay. One is my friend's community -- The Benedictine Community of St. Anthony; and my own Hermitage House. Neither of us are setup as a major retreat center, be we can entertain maybe one person on retreat at a time. My friend in Montana i setup better than I am for retreats, but it is still possible here.
