visions QUESTION from barola September 13, 2001 I have received visions for a very long time, but over the last few years, as my prayer and relationship with God have become stronger, my visions are much more articulate. (Spritual visions) My priest is nervous to talk with me about this. Where can I go to understand more about this. I have been to a DR., I have no psychiatric illinesses.

I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY, HIGHLY, did I say highly? recommend that you read and study the book, A Still Small Voice by Father Benedict Groeschel. This book is designed to help you discern your visions.
Then I would highly recommend that you read the book, Seeking Spiritual Direction by Father Dubay. This book describes what spiritual direction is and is not, how to find a spiritual director, and what to do if you can't find one.
You do need to come under a spiritual director.
I recommend reading both of the above books and then if you can't find a spiritual director that can handle issues like visions, I would call the bishop and tell him about yourself and ask for assistance in finding a spiritual director.
