30 Day Gregorian Masses QUESTION from Roberta July 10, 1999 Is there such thing as 30 consecutive days Gregorian Masses? I seem to remember many years ago in reading Catholic Magazine a story of a Bishop died with sins on his soul and a priest said the 30 days Masses. The Bishop appeared to this priest to thank him for God has spared him because of these Masses. Am I correct in this story?

I don't recall this story myself, but perhaps one of our readers might know it and write me about it.
In general, we should pray and offer Masses for our departed loved ones. That seems to be the theme of the story, and in that it is a good story. God Bless.
