Vespers, Saint Joseph QUESTION from Arturo Noyola September 22, 2000 There is an antiphonarium from the 18th century introducing the Oficium Sancti Joseph Sponsi B M Uirginis, which begins with Iacob autem genuit Ioseph virum Mariae, from Saint Mathew. Does that have anything to do with communion during the regular mass? Was it prayed at Vespers?

Thank you for this very interesting question. Unfortunately after searching my limited resources I'm still incapable of giving it a satisfactory answer.
