Hilda Solis, Secretary of Labor, is inducted into our Hall of Shame for her promotion of illegal behavior. Although the U.S. Federal law says it is a crime to hire an illegal alien, Miss Solis says she wishes to help undocumented workers to get the wages they deserve. Actually illegal aliens have no right to any wages, they have no rights at all that are reserved to citizens. They are illegal, which means they are criminals. Miss Solis’ appeal is contrary to the law stated on her own Labor Department website, which says: …employers may hire only persons who may legally work in the United States (i.e., citizens and nationals of the U.S.) and aliens authorized to work in the U.S. Here is the Public Service Announcement produced by the Labor Department:
