Graphology is hand-writing analysis. When graphology is used as a science in things like FBI profiling it is useful and legitimate. Personality types and emotions do have an effect on one's hand-writing and thus is can be a useful tool in law enforcement and perhaps in come counseling situations. But it is limited. Graphology can only provide a clue.
It is easy to go to far with Graphology and use it like astrology -- to divine your personality and the future. When used outside the limited context of law enforcment and psychiatry and into the popular notions of personality divination and the future, then it enters the realm of new age and/or occult.
