Mason QUESTION from Kim March 11, 2000 I was shocked to read in your forum about the masons. Here is my dilemna. When I was in junior high school a friend and I joined, Rainbows for Girls which is a masonic group. I only went to a few meetings and still do not understand to this day what went on in them. When I would ask questions about why and what they were doing, no one would answer me. I was a member for less than a year.
Now after reading about them, it scares me. Was I committing a sin, even though I didn't know it? Can it be helped?

No it was not a sin to innocently involve yourself. But in terms of good spiritual warfare hygiene I would suggest this prayer to be on the safe side in terms of any excuses the enemy may use as a result of your innocent sojourn.
While we are at it, why don't we include a a bunch of more stuff. It is good for every Christian to pray this prayer:
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I renounce all the workings of Satan in my life in all its forms, whether brought into my life by my actions or by others, whether innocently or deliberately. I break all attachments, ground, curses, spells, and rights Satan may have in my life whether such ground was gained through my actions or through others, whether innocently or deliberatively. I further break all workings of the enemy, attachments, ground, curses, spells, and rights Satan may have in my life because of my innocent participation in ________________ and/or my knowingly and deliberate participation (sin) in ____________________. Strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I ask you Lord to command Satan and all his minions, whomever they may be, to get out of my life and stay out. With that authority I now take back the ground in my life gained by Satan through my sins and through my unintentional and innocent participations. I reclaim this ground and my life for Christ. I now dedicate myself to the Lord Jesus Christ; I belong to Him alone. Amen. Pray this prayer and then forget that past involvement. It is gone, the ground has been reclaimed, go on with your life in good conscience.
