Manger QUESTION from Ronald Smith December 14, 1999
During Advent a blessed manger scene (less the baby Jesus) is on display in our Church. On Christmas Eve they add baby Jesus to complete it. We have a program going on where people are bringing in various wrapped gifts to give to the poor. People have stacked these gifts in the empty manger. Is this permissible?
