indults granted/rejected QUESTION from M Andersen on July 13, 2002 Dear Mr. Slavek,
I recently heard that the Vatican has issued a formal response to the U.S. Bishops' numerous requests for indults to the new IGMR. Do you have any idea where I can find specifics on which were accepted and which rejected? I'm especially interested in the Vatican's responses to the request for loosening the restrictions on using extra-ordinary ministers and the request to allow hand-holding at the Our Father.

I am sorry, but I haven't seen such a list. It has not been published in my newspaper and I doubt it is available on the Internet. It would be very interesting to see. We at least will know for sure what was granted and rejected when the Missal is published in English, if not earlier.
