Dear Michael. Msgr. Peter J. Elliott, an Australian, is an esteemed priest / liturgist who is also a member of the Curia in the Vatican. His opinion carries much weight in Rome. His book is excellent and is faithful to legitimate liturgical law and rubrics. Unfortunately his book is not an official publication of the Vatican and is therefore not binding upon the clergy.
