Cadet Lt. Commander The Cadet Lt. Commander is the second highest ranking cadet in our St. Michael Academy. The Cadet Lt. Commander must have successfully completed all Modules 1-13, all Practicums 1-3, and the Internship. The Candidate must also demonstrate courage, devotion, commitment, administrative skills, and outstanding leadership abilities. The rank is given to the second most outstanding Senior-year cadet. There can be only one Cadet Lt. Commander at any given time; and the post may remain vacant if there are no eligible cadets qualified for the post. The Cadet Lt. Commander, as deputy commander, has the duty, along with the Cadet Commander, to be a role-model, to inspire other cadets, assist his subordinates with their studies as a tutor and mentor, and assist the Cadet Commander in providing leadership to the cadets of the Corp.
