The Living Bread

Listen Now When Elijah was tired, alone, and depressed from the persecution of Jezabel and wanted to die, God wouldn’t let him. Instead, God gave him bread to continue his journey to the holy mountain. We, too, are given the Bread, the Most Holy Eucharist, that can sustain us in our journey through this life even in times of tribulation, depression, and fatigue. Let us not fail to receive our Lord in the Eucharist as often as possible that we may finish the journey to sanctity.
