Spiritual Warfare Catalog Entry Return to Catalog Index Protection Prayer before an Activity It is prudent to always pray a prayer of protection against demonic- interference- or harassment before you begin your prayer time, or before reading or studying the Bible, or before doing any other religious or faith activity. The three best protectors are our Blessed Mother, St. Michael the Archangel, and our Guardian Angel. I will give thanks to You with all my heart, O Lord; (Ps. 138:1) in the sight of the angels I will sing Your praises. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, That we may not perish in the dreadful judgment. Holy Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. I ask you Blessed Mother to watch over me with your motherly protection. I also ask you, St. Michael the Archangel, and also my Guardian Angel, to protect me while I __[pray, read bible, etc]_, that no evil spirit may interfere or intrude in any way with me physically, psychologically, mentally, or spiritually while I _[pray, read bible, etc]___.
