Saint Agnes Parish, Waterloo Ontario and all similar Parishes

Saint Agnes Parish, and all other parishes with similar modern design, is inducted into the Hall of Shame because the Church building in the modern-style thwarting all traditional Catholic architecture that gives deep and profound meaning to the Catholic faith. What is worse is that the corpus in the Sanctuary on the wall is the Christ with open arms. This is a new idea that supplants the purpose of the corpus displayed in the Sanctuary, that of the dying Christ who gave his life for us. We are reminded of 1 Corinthians 1:23. But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling-block, and to the Gentiles, foolishness… Here is what the GIRM states: There is also to be a cross, with the figure of Christ crucified upon it, either on the altar or near it, where it is clearly visible to the assembled congregation. It is appropriate that such a cross, which calls to mind for the faithful the saving Passion of the Lord, remain near the altar even outside of liturgical celebrations. Question: Which cross is preferred/acceptable as the main Crucifix in the Sanctuary/Altar, the Crucified Christ or the Risen Christ? Answer: The Crucified Christ, because it was His Crucifixion that saved us. The risen Christ defeated death and opened heaven to the Saints. Here is a picture of Saint Agnes Parish:
