Democratic California Governor Jerry Brown is inducted into our Hall of Shame for signing into law a mandate that all business signing contracts of $100,000 or more with the State of California must provide benefits to same-sex marriage partners of homosexual employees. In signing the aggressive anti-discrimination law, Governor Brown has instead created legal discrimination against those who do not believe homosexual unions are valid or morally licit. Businesses and their employees will be forced to either violate their consciences by accepting the conditions of the mandate, or else forego opportunity to contract with the State of California.
