Catholic St. Michael's Question & Answer Forum-Faith, History, Spiritual Warfare, Scripture, & more

by Catherine Frakas 10 Jan 2001

St. Michael's Question & Answer Forum Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope, but do it with gentleness and reverence, keeping your conscience clear, so that, when you are maligned, those who defame your good conduct in Christ may themselves be put to shame. -- 1 Peter 3:15-16
A Primary MISSION of the Legion of St. Michael is to inform and to teach all people of good will a precise, accurate, genuine, and authentic teaching of the Catholic Church. This is accomplished through study and research of Church documents, expert opinions from reliable and orthodox authorities, and the writings of the Saints. Goto Resources and Authorities to find a Table of Resources typically used as the basis of our Answers in this form.

This forum is designed to offer the public an opportunity to ask questions about the Catholic Faith. Any area is permissible: moral theology, catechesis, Church history, canon law, Church dogma, Church discipline, questions of orthodox behavior and belief, and questions about the spiritual life. Please see our Q & A Forums Policy Page for guidelines and protocols in posting questions. If you have a suggestion for a new Q & A Forum that you think we should develop, please contact us with your idea. Post a question to one of our Forum Hosts. They'll answer as soon as possible, and your question will appear along with the answer in one of the sections listed below.
The Forum Hosts and/or the Forum Moderator reserve the right to refuse to answer questions which are thinly veiled attacks on the Catholic Church or the Catholic worldview, or that are otherwise unproductive to the purpose of our Forums. Judgement of what constitutes an attack or unproductive question is left up to the individual Forum Host and/or the Forum Moderator. This is not a debate forum but a place where Catholics and non-Catholics can solicit the expertise of hard-working volunteers. Please do not abuse this privilege.(see our Q & A Forums Policy Page for more information.
NOTICE: Looking for men who are knowledgeable about various aspects of the faith to serve as hosts to our Question and Answer Forums. We are looking, for example, for someone who can handle the complicated questions concerning Marriage Laws and Annulment , Moral Theology, and Canon Law issues.
And we have an IMMEDIATE NEED of persons who are qualified to Host the Church History Forum and the Scripture and Sacred Tradition Forum.
