Reiki QUESTION from Deacon Dick Lamb August 19, 2001 Please give us more information about Reiki. Sadly, some priests and sisters are practicioners here in the USA. I hear no negative comments about Reiki in Catholic circles. My research indicates that Reiki masters by and large are involved in past-life regression, and believe in Reincarnation. One of them in her book claims that all practicioners are assigned spirit guides when they receive their attunements. She claims one of hers is Saint Teresa of Avila, who helps her in her writing! What a tragedy that so many Catholics are going to retreat houses, innocently subjecting themselves to this dangerous healing method. Keep up the good work. You are an authentic voice crying in the wilderness.
