Subject to demonic attacks QUESTION from Marilyn March 13, 2000 Hello John-Paul
I was wondering if someone who had been involved in the maharesha and also masonry in their earlier life could somehow have left over bad effects or demonic infestation. Considering the person was baptised into the catholic faith and is a prayerful person now, however has great temptations and angers that do not seem to be resolved. Is it possible this person needs exorcising prayers said for them in order to clear this up. Thank you for your answer.

Yes it is possible and is even likely. The devil will claim ground in our lives. That ground can still be held by Satan even though we have confessed our sins. We need to take back that ground.
To begin with I would suggest the following prayer, which I wrote for a person on the Faith & Spirituality Forum just today. There may be other Spiritual Warfare prayers in our catalog of prayers linked at the top of the Index page of the SW Forum.
Here is this prayer that I would start with.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I renounce all the workings of Satan in my life in all its forms, whether brought into my life by my actions or by others, whether innocently or deliberately. I break all attachments, ground, curses, spells, and rights Satan may have in my life whether such ground was gained through my actions or through others, whether innocently or deliberatively. I further break all workings of the enemy, attachments, ground, curses, spells, and rights Satan may have in my life because of my innocent participation in ________________ and/or my knowingly and deliberate participation (sin) in ____________________. Strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I ask you Lord to command Satan and all his minions, whomever they may be, to get out of my life and stay out. With that authority I now take back the ground in my life gained by Satan through my sins and through my unintentional and innocent participations. I reclaim this ground and my life for Christ. I now dedicate myself to the Lord Jesus Christ; I belong to Him alone. Amen. If this doesn't help, then there are some other prayers that may be useful.
