Prolife Forum: Morbid Facination

by Catherine Frakas 16 Jun 2002

Morbid Facination QUESTION from Mr. Aaron Lim July 26, 2001 I wish to ask for your help and advice upon my problem. I was brought up in a porper Catholic family and I do not have pass histories of relationship problems with any of my family members.
But, I have always had this morbid facination of death. I sometimes have myself thinking of death, the funeral processions and the grief and mourning apart in it. I sometimes even get myself teared up about it (sometimes this situation happens when I'm sad or frustrated. This got on to thinking about death of family members and sometimes it intensifies when actually a someone I know does passes away.
This has got me worried. I feel it is morbid and I want to stop it. Could you advice me on this problem? I know death is a natural process and it is sometimes OK to think about it, but this is wrong when it has gone overboard. Please advice. Thank you.
+ Peace be with you +

ANSWER by Mr. Troy Martz on July 29, 2001 Dear Mr. Lim:
Thank you for your question. Since this deals more with Spirituality then a direct Pro-Life issue, I am forwarding your question to that forum.
May the Peace of Christ be with you,
Troy Martz
