Reply to Icon of Christ QUESTION from Bobbie April 8, 1999 I read the life of Blessed Mother written by Venerable Mary of Agreda, a nun The Mystical City of God when soldiers stripped Jesus of his garment, The mother of Jesus took her veil and gave to wrap Jesus. I thought this might help answer the question and I like to think that is true!!

I am not familiar with the account you mention, but it certainly makes sense -- what Mother would not try to help her son in his humiliation?
But as I said before, I think this issue is a bogus issue invented by people with an agenda not of God.
