PURPOSE OF THIS PRAYER CATALOG:
St. Michael’s Prayers for Spiritual Warfare is offered to the General Public as valuable for self-help in dealing Spiritual Warfare issues in one’s life. Please note that perseverance is usually required. No prayer is magick. God works with us in His divine time-table as we pray with persistence and according to His Divine Will. When praying any of these prayers one may need to pray them daily, or several times a day as needed.
If there seems to be no progress at all, after a sufficient amount of time using these prayers and living a devotional life, third-party intervention from a Deliverance and Healing Counselor may be warranted.

For All Things Necessary to Salvation

O my God, I believe in Thee; do Thou strengthen my faith. All my hopes are in Thee; do Thou secure them. I love Thee’ teach me to love Thee daily more and more. I am sorry that I have offended Thee, do Thou increase my sorrow.
I adore Thee as my first beginning; I aspire after Thee as my last end. I give Thee thanks as my constant benefactor; I call upon Thee as my sovereign protector.
[Grant], O my God! To conduct me by Thy wisdom to restrain me by Thy justice, to comfort me by Thy mercy, to defend me by Thy power.
To Thee I desire to consecrate all my thoughts, words, actions, and sufferings; that henceforward I may think of Thee, speak of Thee, refer all my actions to Thy greater glory, and suffer willingly whatever Thou shalt appoint.
Lord, I desire that in all things Thy will may be done because it is Thy will, and in the manner that Thou willest.
I beg of Thee to enlighten my understanding, to inflame my will, to purify my body, and to sanctify my soul.
Give me strength, O my God! To expiate my offenses, to overcome my temptations, to subdue my passions, and to acquire the virtues proper for my state of life.
Fill my heart with tender affection for Thy goodness, hatred of my faults, love of my neighbor, and contempt of the world.
May Thy grace help me to be submissive to my superiors, [consider my inferiors better than myself], faithful to my friends, and charitable to my enemies.
Assist me to overcome sensuality by mortification, avarice by alms-deeds, anger by meekness, and tepidity by devotion.
O my God! Make me prudent in my undertakings, courageous in dangers, patient in affliction, and humble in prosperity.
Grant that I may be ever attentive at my prayers, temperate at my meals, diligent in my employments, and constant in my resolutions.
Let my conscience be ever upright and pure, my exterior modest, my conversation edifying, and my [behavior disciplined and proper].
Assist me, that I may continually labor to overcome nature, to correspond with Thy grace, to keep Thy commandments, and to work out my salvation.
Make me realize, O my God! the nothingness of this world, the greatness of heaven the shortness of time, and the length of eternity.
Grant that I may prepare for death; that I may fear thy judgments, and in the end obtain heaven; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly, and I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference with which He Himself is offended. And through the infinite merits of His most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of You the conversion of poor sinners. Amen.
“Heavenly Father, I Praise Your Holy Name …”
Heavenly Father, I praise Your Holy Name and I thank You for Your power, mercy, and love. I praise You and thank You for Your mighty working throughout history and in my life. I praise and thank You for Your healing mercy in delivering Your children from the bondage of Satan. I come humbly before You, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of Your Name, acknowledging Your perfection and my weakness, and my complete dependence on You. Amen.
Holy Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
O God, come to my assistance. O Lord, make haste to help me.

Almighty and Everlasting God, Who, by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michael Prince of Thy Church, make us worthy, we ask Thee, to be delivered from all our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into Thy Presence. Sanctify us, we beseech Thee, O Lord, with Thy holy blessing, and grant us, by the intercession of St. Michael, that wisdom which teaches us to lay up treasures in Heaven by exchanging the goods of this world for those of eternity, Thou Who lives and reigns, world without end. Amen.
Relying, O Lord, upon the intercession of Thy blessed Archangel Michael, we humbly beg of Thee, that the Holy Eucharist in whose presence we kneel, may make our soul holy and pleasing to Thee. Through Christ Our Lord. R. Amen.
Saint Michael the Archangel, loyal champion of God and His people, I turn to you with confidence and seek your powerful intercession. For the love of God, Who made you so glorious in grace and power, and for the love of the Mother of Jesus, the Queen of the Angels, be pleased to hear my prayer. You know the value of my soul in the eyes of God. May no stain of evil ever disfigure its beauty. Help me to conquer the evil spirit who tempts me. I desire to imitate your loyalty to God and Holy Mother Church and your great love for God and people. Leader:
Hail, O Immaculate Mary, living tabernacle of the Divinity, where the Eternal Wisdom willed to be hidden and to be adored by angels and by men! Hail, O Queen of Heaven and earth, to whose empire everything is subject which is under God. Hail, O sure refuge of sinners, whose mercy fails no one. Hear the desires which we have of the Divine Wisdom; and for that end receive the vows and offering which in our lowliness we present to thee.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, filled with infinite love, broken by our ingratitude, pierced by our sins, yet loving us still; Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and tender Mother of all people; Saint Michael the Archangel, invincible prince of the angelic hosts and glorious protector of the Universal Church and of our families;
We consecrate ourselves and [our family or our workplace or our household or other] to Thee, Lord Jesus, through Thy mother the Blessed Virgin Mary, to Thy Sacred Heart, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and to St. Michael the Archangel.

Novena Prayer
Divine Jesus, You have said, “Ask and you shall receive; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you”. Behold me kneeling at Your feet, filled with a lively faith and confidence in the promises dictated by Your Sacred Heart to Saint Margaret Mary. I come to ask this favor: (Mention your request).
To whom can I turn if not to You, Whose Heart is the source of all graces and merits? Where should I seek if not in the treasure which contains all the riches of Your kindness and mercy? Where should I knock if not at the door through which God gives Himself to us and through which we go to God? I have recourse to You, Heart of Jesus. In You I find consolation when afflicted, protection when persecuted, strength when burdened with trials, and light in doubt and darkness.
Dear Jesus, I firmly believe that You can grant me the grace I implore, even though it should require a miracle. You have only to will it and my prayer will be granted. I admit that I am most unworthy of Your favors, but this is not a reason for me to be discouraged. You are the God of mercy, and You will not refuse a contrite heart. Cast upon me a look of mercy, I beg of You, and Your kind Heart will find in my miseries and weakness a reason for granting my prayer.
Sacred Heart, whatever may be Your decision with regard to my request, I will never stop adoring, loving, praising, and serving You. My Jesus, be pleased to accept this my act of perfect resignation to the decrees of Your adorable Heart, which I sincerely desire may be fulfilled in and by me and all Your creatures forever.

Novena in Honor of the Holy Name of Jesus
Jesus most merciful, in early infancy You began Your office of Savior by shedding Your Precious Blood and assuming for us that Name which is above all names. I thank You for such early proofs of Your infinite love.
I venerate Your sacred Name in union with the deep respect of the Angel who first announced it to the earth. I also unite my affections to the sentiments of tender devotion which Your adorable Name has, in all ages, enkindled in the hearts of Your servants.
Jesus, You said, “Whatever you ask the Father, He will give you in My Name” (Jn 16:23). I earnestly ask the Father in Your Name for an increase of faith, hope, and charity, and the grace to lead a good life and to die a happy death.
Jesus, You said, “Anything you ask Me in My Name I will do” (Jn 14:13). I earnestly ask You in Your Name to save my soul. I also ask in Your Name for the following favor: (Mention your request).
Jesus, Your most holy Name means “Savior”. Be my Savior, dearest Jesus. Mercifully grant me through Your adorable Name—which is the joy of heaven, the terror of hell, the consolation of the afflicted, and the solid ground of my unlimited confidence—all the petitions I make in this prayer.
Blessed Mother of our Redeemer, you shared so closely in the suffering of your dear Son from the moment that He shed His Precious Blood and assumed for us the Name of Jesus, till His last breath on the Cross. Obtain for me and all those I love, as well as for all the faithful, the grace of eternal salvation through the holy Name of Jesus.

Prayer To Confess A Prideful Heart
Dear Heavenly Father. You have said in Your Word that pride goes before destruction and an arrogant spirit before stumbling (Prov. 16:18). I confess that I have not denied myself, picked up my cross daily, and followed You (Matt. 16:24). In so doing I have given ground to the enemy on my life. I have believed that I could be successful and live victoriously by my own strength and resources. I now confess that I have sinned against You by placing my will before Yours and by centering my life around self instead of You. I now renounce the self-life and by so doing cancel all the ground that has been gained in my members by the enemies of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray that You will guide me so that I will do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind I will regard others as more important than myself (Phil. 2:3). Enable me through love to serve others and in honor prefer others (Ro. 12:10). Prayer To Confess A Rebellious Heart
Dear Heavenly Father. You have said in Your Word that rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and that insubordination is as the sin of iniquity and idolatry (1 Sam. 15:23). I know that in action and attitude I have sinned against You with a rebellious heart. I ask Your forgiveness for my rebellion and pray that by the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of His Name, that all ground gained by evil spirits because of my rebelliousness be canceled and taken back. Prayer To Confess Deceitful Heart
Dear Heavenly Father. I know that You desire truth in the inner self and that facing this truth is the way of liberation (Jn. 8:32). I acknowledge that I have been deceived by the father of lies (Jn. 8:44) and that I have deceived myself (1 Jn. 1:8). I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of His name, that You, heavenly Father, will rebuke all deceiving spirits by virtue of the shed blood and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. I confess that I have used my body and mind as an instrument of unrighteousness by practicing homosexual acts. I know that I am a child of God and that You created me a man (or woman). I know that there are no “homosexuals,” only homosexual behavior. I ask Your forgiveness and ask for Your healing of my body and mind from this sin. With the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, rebuke, O Lord, all homosexual spirits who may be harassing me or in any way attached to me. [NOTE: It is unlikely that any aspect of having an abortion can be considered a venial sin except under the most unusual circumstances, determined by the Church, involving emotional instability or other similar reasons. The Church teaches that this is a mortal sin and thus this sin must be confessed to a priest in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Abortion is considered so serious by the Church that the sin suffers an automatic excommunication according to Canon Law 1398. Those who have actually facilitated abortions on others also need to confess their mortal sin in the Sacrament. Reconciliation is always possible for the repentant sinner. Prayer Of Renunciation Of Ancestral Sins
[Since no one can know for sure what his ancestors may have done, every Christian should pray this prayer. Authorities in Spiritual Warfare report that ancestral issues are the number one cause of demonic harassment in the lives of people.]
Dear Heavenly Father. I come to You as Your child, purchased by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. I here and now reject and disown all the sins of my ancestors. As one who has been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son, and strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of His Name, cancel out, O Lord, all demonic working that has been passed on to me from my ancestors. As one who has been crucified with Jesus Christ and raised to walk in newness of life, cancel, dear Lord, every curse that may have been put upon me and announce to Satan and all his forces that You, the Christ, became a curse for me when You hung on the cross. Renunciation Of Satan and Claiming the Full Victory
I claim the full victory that my Lord Jesus Christ won on the Cross for me. Having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross” (Col. 2:15). His victory for my is my victory.

PREPARING FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Loving heavenly Father, I praise you that Satan is a defeated foe. I rejoice that his defeat was accomplished by the Lord Jesus Christ in his sinless life, death, burial, Resurrection, and Ascension into glory. I look forward to that day when the Lord Jesus Christ rules, while Satan is bound in the bottomless pit. I know that Satan ultimately will be forever consigned to the lake of fire prepared for him and his angels. I rejoice that you have given to me, in my union with the Lord Jesus Christ, complete victory over Satan today. By faith, I express my desire to abide in the protection and blessing of the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray the omnipotent power of his name over my family, and over all you have given me and called me to do. I pray the name of the Lord Jesus Christ against Satan and all that his kingdom would do to hinder God’s plan for my life.
I enter into my victory aggressively and claim my place as more than a conqueror (Ro. 8:37) through him that loved me. I refuse to admit continuing defeat by Satan in any area of my life. He cannot and will not rule over me. I am dead with Christ to his rule.
I praise you for the Cross and death of the Lord Jesus Christ, desiring all the benefits of his death to focus upon my life, my family, and over all that you have given me and called me to do. I affirm that my death with Christ can defeat the control and rule of sin, of death, and of Satan. I desire the shed blood of Christ to be against all that Satan is doing to hinder me. Grant to me the grace to affirm your victory even when experiences of life seem to say otherwise. Grant to me the wisdom to know that the fierceness of the battle is not evidence of defeat.
I thank you for each phase of all battles that I may and will experience and thank you for all that you are seeking to accomplish in your wisdom and design for my life. I accept the battles and rejoice in your purpose. I willingly accept and desire to profit from all of your purpose in letting Satan’s kingdom get at me, for I know that except by the volition of my will and flesh Satan cannot come through the wall and hedge of protection you erect for your children without your express consent and will. (see “Job”) I reject all of Satan’s purpose. I thank you for what you are doing by allowing Satan’s kingdom to war against me. Use the battle to refine, to deepen, to mature, to humble, and to build my faith.
Grant to me the insight and understanding to know my victory. I desire that the roots of my assurance of victory would go down deeply into the essential doctrines of your Word. I want to see myself as being invincibly strong through my union with Christ, the Person and work of the Holy Spirit, the wholeness of your provided armor, the allness of prayer, and the communion of loyalty and obedience to your Church and Magisterium. Teach me how to appropriate my victory in a practical, daily practice.
Through the victory of my Lord and Savior, I stand resolute and strong upon the certainty of my victory. In confidence, I look to You, Lord Jesus Christ. Humbly I use the authority of my union with Christ to pull down all of Satan’s strongholds and all of his plans formed against me personally, against my family, and against God’s appointed plan for my life.

When your purpose for each of the trials that come into my life is fulfilled, I know that it shall fade into the dimness of forgotten battles and a defeated enemy. I recognize that there is only one true and living God (Ex. 20:2, 3) who exists as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that He is worthy of all honor, praise, and glory as the Creator, Sustainer, and the Beginning and End of all things (Rev. 4:11; 5:9, 10; Isa 43:1, 7, 21)
I recognize Christ as the Messiah, the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us (Jn 1: 1,14). I believe that He came to redeem mankind, to offer us a way to freedom from darkness through salvation by the merits of His work on the Cross. I believe that in Christ all works of Satan are destroyed (1 Jn 3:8), that He disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public display of them, having triumphed over them (Col 2:15).
I believe that God has proven His love for me because when I was still a sinner, Christ died for me (Rom 5:8). I believe that He delivered me from the domain of darkness and transferred me to His kingdom, and in Him I have redemption, the forgiveness of sins (Col. 1:13, 14).
I believe that I am a child of God (1 Jn. 3:103) and that I am seated with Christ in the heavenlies (Eph. 2:6). I believe that I was saved by the grace of God through faith, that is was a gift and not the result of my own efforts or merits (Eph 2:8).
I choose to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might (Eph 6:10). I put no confidence in the flesh (Phil 3:3) for the weapons of warfare are not of the flesh (2 Cor. 10:4). I put on the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:10-20), and I resolve to stand firm in my faith and to resist the evil one.
I believe that Jesus Christ has all authority in heaven and on earth (Matt 28:18) and that He is the head over all rule and authority (Col 2:10). I believe that Satan and his demons and wicked spirits are subject to the Lord Jesus Christ and therefore to me in Christ since I am a member of Christ’s body (Eph 1:19-23).
I believe that apart from Christ I can do nothing (Jn 15:5) so I declare my dependence upon Him.
I choose to abide in Christ in order to bear much fruit and to glorify the Lord (Jn 15:8) and to accomplish the work of sanctification that Christ began in me through the Cross (James 2).
I believe that since I am a member go God’s royal family I have the authority, in the name of Christ Jesus, to ask the Father to command the devil and his minions to leave my presence, as I obey the command to resist the devil (James 4:7).
Therefore I announce to all the universe, of men and of angels, of all creatures great and small, and to the infernal creatures below, that Jesus Christ is my Lord (1 Cor 12:3), and that I reject any counterfeit gifts or works of Satan and his minions in my life.
I believe that the truth will set me free (Jn 8:32) and that walking in the light is the only path of fellowship and freedom (1 Jn 1:7). Therefore, as a royal member of God’s household, I stand against Satan’s deceptions by affirming all the doctrines of the Faith and by taking every thought captive in obedience to Christ (2 Cor 10:5).
I declare that the Bible and the Magisterial Church are the only authoritative standards of our Faith (2 Tim 3:15, 16).
I choose to speak the truth in love (Eph 4:15).
I choose to present my body as an instrument of righteousness, a living and holy sacrifice, and thus I renew my mind daily by the living Word of God in order that I may prove that the will of God is good, acceptable, and perfect (Rom 6:13; 12:1, 2).
I ask my heavenly Father to fill me with His Holy Spirit (Eph 5:18), to lead me into all truth (Jn 16:13), and to empower my life that I may live above sin and not carry out the desires of the flesh (Gal 5:16). I crucify the flesh (Gal 5:24) and choose to walk by the Spirit.
In making all these doctrinal affirmations that go deep into the holy doctrines of the Faith, I renounce all selfish goals and choose the ultimate goal of love (1 Tim 1:5). I choose to obey the greatest commandment to love the Lord my God will all my heart, soul, and mind, and to love my neighbor as myself (Matt 22:37-39). Amen.

Hedge Prayer for Protection of Household
[The "Hedge Prayer of Protection" is one of the most powerful prayers in the arsenal of spiritual warfare. We learn from Job that God has placed a "hedge of protection" around his children that Satan cannot cross except that God allows it (or as we allow it).
It should be noted, as it is with all prayer, the Hedge Prayer of Protection is not a magic bullet. There are no guarantees that the Hedge surrounding us cannot be breached. We can allow Satan and his demons to breach the Hedge by our carelessness of leaving the gate open, through direct or indirect invitation to the demons, through sins of commission and omission, through holes left unrepaired after sins are confessed and forgiven, through ancestral afflictions, etc. Even if there are no other reasons, God may allow demons to breach the hedge, as He did with Job, for purposes of testing, learning, or other Divine Reasons that only God may know.
And the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?" Then Satan answered the LORD, "Does Job fear God for nought? Hast thou not put a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. --Job 1:8-10

Do not look upon our sins, O Lord; rather, look at the sufferings of your Beloved Son and see the Victim who’s bitter passion and death has reconciled us to You. Hosea was convinced that he not divorce her but to pray for her return. This prayer is particularly useful in praying for a wayward spouse, child, or friend who has gone astray from the Faith and from God, has left to lead an improper life, and/or is estranged from the proper relationship they should have with you.
It should be noted, as it is with all prayer, the Hedge Prayer is not a magic bullet. There are no guarantees that the person prayed for will return. We must always remember that God has given his children the freedom to choose -- even the freedom to choose wrongly. No one, not even God, may force a person against their will to do anything. I will try to get online as soon as I can some prayers dealing with drug addictions and other addictions.
Remember, the demons cannot “make” you do anything. They cannot violate your free-will. You have to choose to sin. But, demons can put a lot of pressure on you to make the wrong choices.

Loved the Prayers They are needed. I think that Spiritual warfare prayers should be prayed at Mass. They should reinstitute the original St. michael prayer before mass or at its opening., At end of Mass we receive a Blessing and are told to go out to share the Gospel. In order to do that belivers must be equipped. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit you desire this. You also desire to Worship God. There should also be the arts allowed back during mass, like banners, sacred dance, and the Hebraic roots of the Church,Glory Rings, taberets, dancing like David Danced, Tabernacle of David is Praise. People should lift hands in church and sing in tongues. Tongues and prophetic declarations of scripture. The Blessed mother who was filled with the Holy Spirit would have done a cirlcle dance, would have liked the tamberine, would have liked the menorah, would have sung songs in a prophetic voice. She is the Mother of Israel…Mother Zion, certainly she would have had a powerful prophetic mantle on her. Also God wants to heal at every Mass. There should be healings and testimonies to God.
Suggest that there be a prayer against a religious spirit. A religious spirit does not recognise the Priesthood of a believer. Also The Body of Christ is a person who is filled with the Holy Spirit and who knows Christ many are receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit outside of the Catholic Church. I think that is telling you something. There is something wrong. Also the assault on women is more so now then ever before. God sees One man One Women joined together as One Flesh. One. In Marriage. It is important for the church to recognise the Holy Spirit and He does not divide. It is Man who divides. Also Christians are automatically being taught by Holy Spirit to command demons to go. Holy Spirit is showing many to read the scriptures and see the power of the spoken word. Also Jesus is appearing to muslims, catholic, baptists, lutherns, methodists, Holy Spirit falls in crusades, and many are seeing God. Also a prophetic mantle is coming on the saints for we know that we must fight against the anti-christ spirit.

The St. Michael Prayer after the end of Mass was never an official part of Mass. Parishioners can choose to say the prayer after Mass anytime they want. Just get a few people together and remain after Mass to pray the prayer.
As for art in the Mass, that already exists in the liturgical colors, the chalice and other sacred vessels, the stain-glassed windows, statuary, the crucifix, and any murals that may be in the sancturary . But, as for dancing it is not permitted to have dancing in the Mass in the Latin Rite. This is not sacred activity in the Western World; it is a folk activity. Any folk activities (folk songs, folk gestures, and such) is not appropriate in Mass. The Mass is a sacred time and a sacred place and that which is not sacred is not appropriate.
Singing in tongues is also not permitted, not only by the Church, but also by St. Paul in the Bible. Many priests who allow these sorts of charismatic expressions commit the sin of rebellion when these sorts of displays in the Mass is not proper and not allowed by liturgical law.
The things you describe are fine in a prayer meeting, but not at Mass. The Mass has the sole purpose of sacred worship and Eucharist. All the charismatic expressions are not Sacred worship and thus has no place in the Mass.
The term “Baptism of the Holy Spirit” was invented by Protestant Pentecostals. The Pentecostals do not believe in the Sacrament of Confirmation and thus when they read the passages in the Book of Acts concerning this, they could only interpret it as some experience that is post-conversion at some future date. This is false.
The passages in the book of Acts about laying on hands for the coming of the Holy Spirit is about the Sacrament of Confirmation. We are baptized in the Holy Spirit at water baptism and at confirmation. The so-called “baptism of the Holy Spirit” in the Charismatic community is not a baptism technically, it is rather an experience where a person, perhaps for the first time, realizes the power of the Holy Spirit that is already within him.
I would suggest you read the essay, Charism Gifts Building Up the Church (pdf file). This essay details the pros and cons of the Charismatic Renewal, and explains the “Pentecostalisms” that have contaminated the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. This essay quotes many experts, popes, and bishops.
Finally, I suggest caution in making statements about spiritual warfare and deliverance when you are not likely qualified to offer the statements. Your statement, “religious spirit does not recognise the Priesthood of a believer” is inaccurate.
Your statement, “Christians are automatically being taught by Holy Spirit to command demons to go” is rather odd. Actually, Jesus said that we (laity) have the authority to cast out demons, as recorded in the Bible (Luke 10:17; Mark 16:15-18). We need to learn the Bible and depend less on subjective “impressions” and “messages” allegedly from the Holy Spirit. Our current Pope warned about this subjectivism.
While Jesus authorized even the laity to cast out demons, He gave the Pope the keys to the kingdom and thus he may regulate how and when laity may be involved in casting out demons. The Church has restricted formal (solemn) exorcism to a priest only and then only with the express permission of his bishop. Deliverance prayers may be prayed by anyone, but there are some prayers restricted to priests only to be used only in a solemn exorcism.
I appreciate your enthusiasm and devotion, but be careful about overstepping your bounds, and proposing things that are contrary to Church teaching, and making statements about demonology when you have not been trained and experienced in the field.
We are certainly to be one. Unity is what the Church strives within herself and with others. The only way to attain that unity is to remain very close to the Pope and Magisterium and not stray too far from them.
