I was recently plagued by nightmares and found myself leaving my house at 11pm in the nite to sleep by my mom!! that was a week ago. I woke up screaming and automatically saying "Hail Mary full of grace..." and that is what woke me up.,,, it goes withuot saying that i was terrified beyond belief having had no idea or any nightmare that preceded this... when i came back to the house, a week later, i was awake the entire night and did not sleep at all. the next day i found this site and said a good few of the spiritual protection hedge prayers for myself and my household after having gone to Mass and confession, thank God i slept peaceully and had a good night;s rest, with no panic attacks. However, strangely enough this morning when i got up feeling so rested and thanking God i was saying the spritual protection prayer for myself and my 8 year old son, who was still asleep, suddenly jumped in his sleep and got up in tears, which was strange for me as i had just finished saying this prayer for both of us. When i asked him what happened he said he didn't know why or what terrified him in his sleep, but he got up crying.(my son is 8 years and this is not typical of him,in fact i never saw this). i don't know if having said this prayer had any effect on any residual evil that may have been hanging around that affected him. any comments would be appreciated.
