Gabrielle Union, Actress Thursday, July 1th, 2010 Gabriele Union is inducted into our Hall of Shame because she claims to be Catholic and yet supports Planned Parenthood and the Homosexual Agenda. This is incompatible with the Catholic Faith. Miss Union is risking her soul for her support of abortion. Catholic actress: Planned Parenthood's goal is saving women's lives' by Ben Johnson HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA, June 6, 2012, (LifeSiteNews.com) The Susan G. Komen Foundation's contentious flurry of policies regarding Planned Parenthood this year funding, then defunding, then re-funding the abortion giant left many people confused. Actress Gabrielle Union, who supports the annual fundraiser and Planned Parenthood, revealed her own form of confusion on the matter recently. Many pro-abortion Americans refused to support the Komen foundation this year after it briefly threatened to end its relationship with Planned Parenthood, while pro-life Americans have withheld their funds after the organization caved in and renewed funding to the abortion giant.Dramatically fewer people participated in this year's Race for the Cure as a result. Union described her decision to run in the fundraiser, telling The Washington Examiner, I can say as a proud Democrat that I don't bat an eyelash supporting Komen and I don't bat an eyelash supporting Planned Parenthood because ultimately their goal is the same: saving women's lives. In 2007, The Washington Post described Union who is perhaps best known for her role opposite Kirsten Dunst in Bring It On as a nice Catholic girl. She said she absorbed much of her political outlook from her mother, who took me to my first gay pride parade when I was 8. I wore a button, Straight but Not Narrow Minded.' Planned Parenthood performed 329,445 abortions in 2010. Read the rest of this entry » Tags: Posted in Catholic Personalities, Media Personalities | No Comments »
Martin Sheen Thursday, July 1th, 2010 Martin Sheen, allegedly a devout Catholic, is inducted into our Hall of Shame as an unabashed supporter of President Obama. More than that Sheen adores Obama who is fiercely active in making sure babies are killed. Obama is the most baby-killing president in history and supports nearly every intrinsic evil we can name. Bishop Gracida and other bishops have affirmed that voting for a pro-abortion candidate is grave sin and thus may not receive communion in such a state of sin.

Lilian Jarales | Ruah Energy and Intuitive Knowledge Institute Thursday, July 1th, 2010 Lilian Jarales, RMT, TCMP, CAA, ADS is inducted into our Hall of Shame, because she claims to be Catholic yet practices various New Age alternative medicines that are hostile to the Church. The energy therapies she practises are based on non-existent energy flows through meridians that allegedly course through the body similar to the lymphatic system. Jarales says of herself: … that she is a practitioner of natural therapies and oriental – energy medicine. She practices acupuncture, herbal and food therapy. She also does and teaches reiki healing and spiritual counseling. Her discipline on Child Psychology and experience on social development makes up her whole work on healing. In the Philippines, she moderates the REIKI (Ruah Energy and Intuitive Knowledge Institute),a non-profit organization that runs a healing center and holds healing and inner studies. Being a medical intuitive and earth intuitive who performs rituals, ceremonies and healing of land and space, her work is her life mission, integrating and introducing the unity of the body, mind and spirit to bring wellness to all and to humanity. Anyone claiming to do energy therapy needs to be avoided. This system of thought is not Christian and not scientific. Even after we carefully tried to inform this woman of Church teaching, the depth of her delusion and arrogance shines forth in her response, I still stand for who I am and with my way of serving God. A very familiar sentiment reminiscent of Lucifer’s arrogance, I will not serve. This represents a central core to all liberals they always think their opinions outrank that of the Holy See. When properly admonished for their errors, Liberals always cry like babies that we are mean or not nice, that we are merely offering one opinion among many, and that we are judging. None of this is true, but all of this fits the behavior of liberal who wish to do what they wish to do upon their own authority without regard to anything the Church may say. This is a delusion and a well known tactic the devil uses. See Three Secret Strategies of Satan. We are also reminded of several pertinent quotes to which Miss Jarales and her ilk should take heed: Those who tell the Truth love you. Those who tell you what you want to hear love themselves.Mother Angelica The more we see failure in obedience, the stronger should be our suspicion of temptation. St. Teresa of evila Lord, those are your best servants who wish to shape their life on Your answers rather than to shape your answers on their wishes. Fr. Stephen A. Privett, S.J. and the Vagina Monologues Thursday, July 1th, 2010 Fr. Stephen A. Privett, S.J., President of University of San Francisco, is inducted into the Hall of Shame for perverted support and defense of the Vagina Monologues. Matthew Archbold, in his LifeSiteNews article, At least ten Catholic colleges will host Vagina Monologues in 2014, observes: The Monologues seriously distorts human sexuality and celebrates sinful behaviors, including lesbian activity and masturbation. One scene even declares a lesbian rape of a teenage girl her salvation which raised her into a kind of heaven. Father Privett, in an 2013 interview, defended the play and seemingly compared it to a nativity play. How perverted can one be? The Monologues not only proposes and supports moral depravity and sin, but behavior that degrades the human person, and perverts the soul. This is straight out of hell itself. That at least ten Catholic colleges, or student groups or other groups approved by the colleges, are hosting this depravity is a major scandal. Those colleges are: The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass Georgetown University Women's Center in Washington, D.C. DePaul University in Chicago Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky Saint Louis University (Mo.) Loyola University New Orleans (La.) Loyola University Chicago (Ill.) Saint Mary's College of California Seattle University (Wash.) Santa Clara University's does not appear to have scheduled the Monologues in 2014 as of this date, but the University has hosted the Monologues numerous times in recent years, according to Matthew Archbold’s article. We call upon the bishops of those colleges to order the colleges to cancel these productions upon pain of sin and formal censure or even expulsion of the name of Catholic from that school. Any bishop who does not do this is an accomplice to this sin, depravity, and scandal. We also call upon Fr. Privett’s superiors to censure him for his perverted remarks and support of this depraved play. Martin J. Amos, Bishop of Davenport Thursday, July 1th, 2010 Martin J. Amos, Bishop of Davenport, is inducted into our Hall of Shame, for his decision to allow a homosexual activist student to be presented with a scholarship award from Eychaner Foundation's Gold Matthew Shephard Scholarship, a pro-homosexual group, during commencement at a Catholic High School. No one is disputing that this student cannot have this scholarship, but when has it become a tradition to announce college scholarships during a High School Graduation Ceremonies? In this case, the scharlorship is one in which the qualifications are, according to the Eychaner Foundation website: Openly LGBT Iowa high school seniors with a GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, an ACT score of 22 or better, demonstratable LGBT activism and community service, and a history of high moral and ethical standards and conduct. Thus, this scholarship is to praise and encourage teenage sodomy, and to display perverted morality and ethical standards in utter conflict with Church teaching. Teachers and administrators are complicit in this crime against this young man for not considering his soul. Michael Voris gives a good summary of the issues: Read About It >>> Read the rest of this entry » Tags: Catholic Organizations, Catholic Personalities, Secondary & Elementary Schools Posted in Catholic Organizations, Catholic Personalities, Secondary & Elementary Schools | No Comments »
Robert Sungenis, John Salza, and other assorted Nuts | Updated Thursday, July 1th, 2010 Robert Sungenis, John Salza, and all the other Catholic assorted nuts out there who actually believe in the false theory of geocentrism, are inducted into our Hall of Shame for their departure from reason that makes Catholicism look foolish. Geocentricism is the nutty theory that the sun and stars revolve around the earth and that the earth itself stands still. We are not going to get into a debate about this for to do so would be to give a level of credibility to this profoundly stupid theory. There is plenty of science out there for anyone to look up if they have doubts about this. The only issue we bring up is the hypocrisy of these people. These geocentrists claim a literal interpretation of Scripture that is contrary to that taught by the Church. The Geocentrist are using a method called literalism. Literalism is not the same thing as the literal/historical-grammatical-critical/analogical/ typological/literary/spiritual method used by the Church. Literalism takes the passages of Scripture at face value without any recognition of the issues that a proper hermeneutic considers, such as context, the writer’s intent, the audience, the state of knowledge at the time, etc. But, far worse than that deeply flawed hermeneutic method is that the Geocentrists are not consistent with their own method of interpretation. They are hypocritical, which is to be expected, but nonetheless it is important to point out. If these assorted nuts are going to claim the Scripture verses that speak of the earth not moving and the universe orbiting around the earth, then they must also take the verses that say the earth has four corners with equal literalism. (Isa 11:12) He will raise an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (Rev 7:1) After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree. (Rev 20:8) and will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth, that is, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. If we use the same interpretative method of the Geocentrist, then we must also conclude that the Earth has four corners. Since there are no corners in a sphere we must conclude that the Earth is a flat rectangle or square. These Geocentrists usually do not claim the earth is flat, so they are consummate hypocrites to their own interpretative method. Pope John Paul II said[the incident with Galileo was based on a tragic mutual miscomprehension, said it well about such literalistic interpretations of Scripture: (9) …Cardinal Poupard has also reminded us that the sentence of 1633 was not irreformable, and that the debate which had not ceased to evolve thereafter, was closed in 1820 with the imprimatur given to the work of Canon Settele. . . . (11) …The error of the theologians of the time, when they maintained the centrality of the earth, was to think that our understanding of the physical world’s structure was, in some way, imposed by the literal sense of Sacred Scripture. Let us recall the celebrated saying attributed to Baronius Spiritui Sancto mentem fuisse nos docere quomodo ad coelum eatur, non quomodo coelum gradiatur. In fact, the Bible does not concern itself with the details of the physical world, the understanding of which is the competence of human experience and reasoning. There exist two realms of knowledge, one which has its source in Revelation and one which reason can discover by its own power. To the latter belong especially the experimental sciences and philosophy. The distinction between the two realms of knowledge ought not to be understood as opposition. (Pope John Paul II (1992-11-04). Faith can never conflict with reason. L’Osservatore Romano 44 (1264). ) While we cannot imagine many people are that gullible to buy into to such nonsense, the fact that Robert Sungenis and John Salza have some notoriety causes scandal to the those few Faithful out there who may be seduced by them. Why does this matter? It matters because Truth matters. It matters because such nonsense interpretations do violence to the virtue of Truth, causes the Church to look foolish, and provides fuel for those anti-Catholics to deride the Church as unreasonable and anti-scientific. No matter what other good material these two nutters may have on their websites, we cannot recommend them and caution the public to be careful reading their websites as Sungenis and Salza cannot be trusted to think correctly in concert with the Catholic worldview. Update: There is actually a so-called a First Annual Catholic Conference on Geocentricism The roster of nutballs includes: Robert SungenisMark WyattRobert BennettRick/Wyn DelanoMartin SelbredeGerry BouwJohn SalzaMichael JonesHugh Miller Caution should be practiced in reading or listening to any of these people. Nancy Pelosi, Minority Leader, U.S. House Thursday, July 1th, 2010 We induct Nancy Pelosi into our Hall of Shame because, well, because she is Nancy Pelosi. This woman is responsible for Obamacare, a plan rejected by more than 70% of the people of the United States, thinks returning Veterans may be a terrorist risk, unabashedly supports killing babies, and is perhaps the stupidest Congress(wo)man we have had in 100 years. Pelosi is well-known for her bone-headed remarks that makes us wonder if she has the IQ to be in Congress (and that is saying something), but yesterday takes the cake. In response to the likely passing of Protect Life Act, Pelosi said during a press conference on October 13, 2011, that Republicans who voted for a pro-life bill were voting to let women die on the floor. For this off-the-charts idiocy Nancy Pelosi not only makes it to our Hall of Shame but is also given the Stupid Is as Stupid Does Award for the 20th and 21st Century. Think we exaggerate? Listen for yourself: In a blog comment one person said, She is an embarrassment to every rational human. Since she claims to be Catholic, we might say that she is an embarrassment to every Catholic, but that is giving her too much credit. Any pretense to Catholicism is just that, a pretense. Her support and facilitation of intrinsic evil has surely brought her an automatic excommunication long ago. We are only amazed, well maybe not, that the media does not shut her down when she makes such stupid remarks. This one yesterday far surpasses any stupid remark ever made by a Republican.
