Suffering is a glorious opportunity for grace. If we join our suffering with Christ, suffering becomes redemptive not only for us, but for the whole world. We become active participants in the Lord’s work of salvation and by sanctifying our suffering win for ourselves the glory of Heaven. The Our Father & the Name of God October 8th, 2009 Listen Now
In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus teaches that we can call God, daddy. We learn that we are His children and thus we need to struggle to behave as his worthy children. Hallowed be His name. We are to treat the name of God with respect and honor. This is the first of seven petitions of the Our Father. If we love God, we will sincerely love his holy name. We will be discussing more of the Our Father, tomorrow and on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. A Christian Outlook on Death November 13th, 2009 Listen Now

To Want to See the Lord September 24th, 2009 Listen Now
Please excuse the tardiness of getting this meditation online. Our server was down for many hours last night. Purifying one’s sight in order to contemplate Jesus in the midst of our everyday lives is a goal we should all seek. Many people, we read in the Gospels wished to see Jesus. Some, like the Pharisees, saw Him but did not really see him. Let us genuinely seek to see our Lord with purified eyes. Let us say to Him each day, Thy face, Lord, do I seek.
